You can easily install home security camera. It is not very costly. Only thing is proper planning & preparation.

Based on your house area, you can decide about the number of cameras. Then you can decide the locations.

Try to place camera in such a way to get maximum coverage. Cover your important locations like entry door, back side of house, garage , basement etc.

You can also use hidden cameras. these are really useful in critical locations. As the camera is hidden, intruder will not be able to find it.

You can use cheap webcams inside the home. These are compact, require less space. The wireless version will avoid wiring. The advantage using computer with webcam is get live action thro' internet. You can monitor your key area over the internet from any location.
