Home Security System with Wireless House Alarm
by Ramesh
In this competitive (lazy!?) world, some of them need to do jobs by sitting or from the place where they are present. It is now the wireless house alarms are available, to protect their home from thieves and some crucial disaster. Home Security System Control Unit- The control unit is the "brain" of the home security system. It receives signals from the switches and triggers the alarm. - The control unit can be powered by mains or battery. Some can be fed by mains with the battery as a source of back-up power. These back-up batteries can be automatically recharged when power is regained. - The control unit may have the capability to dial the phone number of a security company or nominated neighbor, or the owner himself which is quite expensive. Features of wireless alarmsThe basic feature of these wireless alarms is detection of unauthorized access. Some of them detect using infrared motion sensors, and some of them are fire, smoke and carbon dioxide detectors. They are capable of detecting fire, external intrusions by the thieves and sound siren or makes telephonic call to the owner. False impression over wireless alarmsOne of the largest complaints by homeowners, about cheap house alarm systems is the inconvenience associated with constantly arming (activating) and disarming (deactivating) the alarm. For example, if an alarm is activated, a homeowner wants to open the door; so he must deactivate the alarm by entering a code on a keypad before proceeding. Using home alarm systems do not have to lead with such minor frustration, though; with only a minor lifestyle adjustment, many homeowners have successfully used wireless house alarm systems for many years with only minimal false alarms. |
