by Ramesh
(Dombivali)

In this competitive (lazy!?) world, some of them need to do jobs by sitting or from the place where they are present. It is now the wireless house alarms are available, to protect their home from thieves and some crucial disaster.

Everybody likes to have their own house, and they won?t like to do a pinch of hole in their wall, In such situation best way is, to install the wireless alarm, because it doesn?t need to make hole in the wall to run with the wire, which usually decreases the outlook of the home. Wireless alarms acts as a secret agents for identifying thieves who enter the house, when the owner is not in.
Wireless home security usually varies from simple to complex alarms. Among this, most basic house alarms are intended to monitor the windows and door, these alarms are designed with simple electronic circuits, to detect the motion, if anybody armed the alarm or detects the motion, starts the siren sound to alert the house owner about the intrusion.

In addition to being simple, these basic alarms are also very inexpensive. They can be found online or in many major retailers for as little as $10. These systems are included with a sensor for each doorway and window in the home, and all of these sensors are supervised by a central control panel. It is provided with the panic button, where the user can activate or deactivate the system by these buttons, when he needed.

The complex alarm systems have the capability to sound an alarm and notify the police and home owner. These complex alarms are considerably more expensive.

Home Security System Control Unit

- The control unit is the "brain" of the home security system. It receives signals from the switches and triggers the alarm.
- The control unit can be powered by mains or battery. Some can be fed by mains with the battery as a source of back-up power. These back-up batteries can be automatically recharged when power is regained.
- The control unit may have the capability to dial the phone number of a security company or nominated neighbor, or the owner himself which is quite expensive.

Features of wireless alarms

The basic feature of these wireless alarms is detection of unauthorized access. Some of them detect using infrared motion sensors, and some of them are fire, smoke and carbon dioxide detectors. They are capable of detecting fire, external intrusions by the thieves and sound siren or makes telephonic call to the owner.

False impression over wireless alarms

One of the largest complaints by homeowners, about cheap house alarm systems is the inconvenience associated with constantly arming (activating) and disarming (deactivating) the alarm. For example, if an alarm is activated, a homeowner wants to open the door; so he must deactivate the alarm by entering a code on a keypad before proceeding. Using home alarm systems do not have to lead with such minor frustration, though; with only a minor lifestyle adjustment, many homeowners have successfully used wireless house alarm systems for many years with only minimal false alarms.
