Usually the answer would be, No, because everyone likes to save the money for their future use or to spend for some other things. Can any one imagine the cheaper world? Yes, if the price of the article becomes cheaper, people will look to buy that product.

Usually we use home security alarms to protect ourselves from the burglars, fire, and some hazardous things. But, if these alarms are expensive, how an average ordinary man can buy these alarms? One can go for cheaper home security alarms too.

The common parts of a home security alarm are,

1. Control Panel: It is a brain of the whole security package, which accepts the signal which sent by the motion sensors such as, fire, smoke, and motion (movement of a person or object) detector and activates the siren.

2. Keypad: This is like a switch board and which is installed on the wall, and will be a bunch of buttons which will be suspended or will be adhered to the board itself. These buttons can be used to activate or deactivate the whole system.

3. Motion Sensor: These detectors are usually kept at the doors and on the sides of windows, such that, when the burglar passes in front of the detector, it will send the signal to the control panel.

4. Fire or smoke Sensors: fire detector detects possibility of fire and prevents the possible major disasters, whereas, smoke detector detects the smoke and alerts even before the fire appears.

5. Carbon-monoxide detectors: This detector detects the most poisonous gases like carbon-monoxide, and protects the users from these slow killers.

6. Security Keypad: Keypad are used to activate or deactivate the security system, some systems will come with a remote, so that the user can handle from a fixed distances easily.

7. Siren: The use of the siren is to alert the user when the danger occurs.

Problems with Free alarms

As we all know price is inverses of its availability, if any one aspires for the cheap home security camera, definitely he will disappointed.

Most of the free alarm companies go with wireless, because, it takes no skill or no risk of installation. Probably these installers are not much experienced or skilled. Because they are paid little, they will not be much interested in welfare of these companies. This will lead adversely in installing home security alarm. Really skilled workers will be paid more than unskilled workers. Because skilled and hard working laborers are only numbered, they will be seen only in reputed companies.

Free alarm systems are always available in all-in-one wireless units, which is vulnerable. Each part of alarm, that is, sensors, control Panel and siren, will be available as closed systems and installed. If a thief damages any one part of the normal alarm systems the siren will start sound to alert, so it might not be a problem, if it is an all-in-one system, the burglar will do much easier to damage the whole system.

The Free alarm systems, usually, doesn’t offer monitoring service and usually, any other companies will not also offer monitoring service for such products to protect the customer interests. It doesn’t have any customer care centers. If the customer has a problem with their systems, they won’t get any service. If the user needs to change the alarm, or want to repair it, the company does not provide any services.
